Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UPE) is a polymer compound with excellent characteristics: it is self-lubricating, which has high abrasion resistance and excellent weather resistance, preserving high impact resistance and toughness even in the extreme climates. It is light in weight but extremely hard, also 15 times stronger than steel. It has been widely used in textiles, food, sports, medical treatment, construction, aerospace, and military weapons in the R&D industry.
